No
There are a couple of stores where you can get a snack lunch.
In google maps you should be able to put in yellowstone lake hotel and it will pinpoint it for you.
There is a coin-op laundry at the main lodge building
Google maps says it is .5 miles about a 10 minute walk
"Saffran" translates from ancient Cliffian to "chode", and they don't accept chodes there. You worthless massive one. Go home. Also, check-in's at 6:00 - hope to see you there! With love, Ancient Cliffianist.
Yes
Great people and great food and great atmosphere
Highly recommended for lunch or dinner!! We ordered the fresh trout with the orange and onion chutney, which came with two sides and a roll. So fresh and delicious. We got a great spot by the window to look over the lake. Such a fun time and delicious food!
U DIDNT HAVE CHOCALITE
We ate dinner and breakfast here. The food was good and the prices decent for the location. The view of Lake Yellowstone is a benefit of eating here.
Worst food in Yellowstone bar none
Absolutely disgusting food. Do yourself a favor and make the drive to Gardiner, MT for some real food that’s worth the price instead $12+ for a piece of rubber-looking mush like you’ll find here.
Very good for the price!
Limited choices in Yellowstone but overall it isn't bad.
Food was great. Grab and go service was quick.
Pretty terrible and bland. Tasted like it was made a few days ago and kept warm. The whole place while nice overall, was depressing.
Pricy but a decent option of food inside the park
Great food and service
Cafeteria in enchanting surroundingsIt’s a cafeteria. The prices are correct. A large massive log room with a view of the lake. It's a plus. Bison Chili is to try.
Yes, it's a cafeteria but the prices are not. I expected the food to be better, since the bill was well over $100 for 4 people. However, the trout was extremely salty and the rest of the food was just okay, at a level of what you would expect at Old Country Buffet. It is a pretty building, though, hence the 2 stars.
Food was cold, unseasoned, anything but fresh. That along with being overpriced is pretty disappointing.
This cafeteria dining room had surprisingly good food. I highly recommend it.
Wonderful bar and porch
Decent food for a fair price, front porch view is incredible!
Not bad for cafeteria food!A cafeteria can never be 5 stars. This place wasn’t bad though. Food was hot and not too expensive for being in the center of YNP. I recommend if your are hungry but don’t expect anything gourmet.
I had a small plate veggie lasagna and let me tell you, it was truly small. Tiny. Look at that portion size. If I had known exactly how meager the serving was, I would have ordered the regular plate. My sister ordered the same thing and got a larger portion, which was frustrating. Like the other cafeteria at Old Faithful, you don’t have to bus your own dishes. Friendly service. Line can get long - when I left, it was out the door of the cafeteria. Also, be careful when getting water, it is easy to accidentally get lemonade.
Ate here as it was the only option around and the menus offered bison burgers. Carry out only. The line moved quickly and smoothly. Prices were fair. Ordering was easy. Front entrance worker was courteous. Unfortunately, the food was sub par, fries were stale and cold as if prepped hours prior to serving. Bison tasted the same as beef. Our order was incorrect so we had to bring it back. They provided an inadequate amount of condiments, and atmosphere was terrible (think covid grocery store checkout without the music). To top if off, the guy at the back door was overtly rude. Seriously guys, yes, things are different because of said pandemic; but, please try harder.
Trout and salisbury steak were good, but sides were limited and bland. I wouldn't suggest eating here, unless you have no other options (like what happened to us).
The only way a restaurant could be this bad in such a great and beautiful location would be for the government to be in charge of it.The menu is comically bad. The food is bland at best and what should be a great rustic vibe, is instead drab and depressing.
My lunch was great! A chicken burrito with cilantro lime rice and sriracha mayo, so good. Staff was friendly, place clean and view was great. Prices were the same as getting a burrito at Chipotle, but way better tasting. Good stuff, glad I found this place.
Good I guess
Standard cafeteria food. But the food, especially the chicken, was way too salty. Prices are what you would expect for a place inside YNP and a decent value but if you want a decent tasting meal, go elsewhere. Lots of seating with some views to the outside along the wall.
Expensive and horrible. Pass.
It's fine. A lot of the negative reviews must have been people that got lost on their way to the Four Seasons. It's a cafeteria in a national park. I was satisfied that (a) it wasn't outrageously overpriced, (b) the pot roast was tasty and a good portion, and (c) the service was friendly. Just order something that's hard to screw up (see aforementioned pot roast) and you'll be fine.
Pricey but good selection of food items with sufficient vegetarian choices.
Great breakfast
We had to wait 50 minutes to order our food. Then half of the food we wanted was not available. When we got fnally our food half of it was cold and they forgott also some of it... 1 star for the great view to the lake.
When we arrived, it was not crowded, so that was a positive. They had free refills on the soda, but the food was meh. Very cafeteria like but with high prices. The lodge had WIFI but not able to access it unless you stayed there or had a code, which was frustrating because there's no cell signal in the park and would have appreciated getting online.
